"In my experience with contractors and remodeling, you have to make some choices; you can have it done quickly or done well, you can have it done frugally or you can have quality, and almost always you have to push and negotiate to get anywhere near what you want. We met with several contractors, one who laughed at what we wanted to do, another who quoted us a price so high that it was clear he wasn't interested in actually doing the work. Mo and Adam came over, listened to my wants for the kitchen, and found a way to do everything at a price that made sense to me. So I expected this to take months--it was a kitchen remodel and entirely new floor throughout the house after all. We started work at the beginning of November, Mo and Adam and Selvin made sure I had a kitchen I could cook thanksgiving dinner in--something I didn't ask for, they were just being thoughtful. The rest of the odds and ends were completed by the first week of December. I don't know how many times I told them I couldn't believe how quickly they were getting all of this done. At the end of the day the most important part to me was the I felt safe with these men. They were sweet to my kids (my one year old took a liking to Selvin and he had to hold him any time my son saw him). I work from home and on many occaisions we were alone in the house, and I never once felt uncomfortable in any way. Oh and also they do absolutely awesome work. I would highly reccomend them to anyone who needs any work done on their home. If we have anything else to do, they are who I'll call."
